Character Development: FINAL

So here is the final piece of my Character Development of Kuno. I also added in some “accessories” which Kuno would take with him on his adventure. I will have another post focusing on exploring his personality (link here) but overall I’m pretty pleased with how it all turned out. Growing up, I used to spend a lot of my time making up characters but they were almost always:

A) fictional characters (rarely completely human)

B) always women.

So this project really tested my skills having never drawn a male character that looks…well…normal, compared to all previous sketches I have made. It also made me aware of what the process of creating a character  requires and how much thought and planning goes into it – something I never used to do when experimenting with my own drawings.
